Insurance Bill 2075 to be presented in the parliament today; Insurance Board to be converted into Insurance Authority

The Insurance Bill 2075 will be presented in the meeting of the federal parliament today. The bill will be present in the parliament by Finance Minister, Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada.

The bill was set to be presented earlier on Shrawan 03, but the program was postponed after the obstructions of the opposition (Nepali Congress).

The main rule to be implemented through the Insurance Bill is the conversion of Insurance Board into Insurance Authority.

Also after the implementation of the Insurance Bill, the BoD of the Insurance Board will lose its authenticity. The bill has already been passed by the Cabinet and registered in the parliament.
